MPHO MASHILE CA(SA)

Mpho is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Gladys Group (Pty) Ltd and was appointed in November 2018.He is a Chartered Accountant who has extensive professional experience in finance, strategy development and overall business management. His career spans over 12 years in various industries such as the banking sector, engineering and built environment as well as the chemical and gas industry.

His experience within the banking industry through ABSA Capital/Barclays lead him to roles in Egypt, Ghana, Mauritius and several other prominent African countries where he worked for a number of years.

Prior to joining Gladys Group, he was Chief Financial Officer at Air Liquide, previously to that he led an engineering firm GladAfrica and its Group of Companies as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director for several years

He holds an academic and university exemption, from the University of Cape Town in BCom Accounting and has a Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) from Witwatersrand University. He completed his articles with Deloitte & Touché South Africa.
