NOEL MASHABA

Noel Mashaba’s career started as a young public servant in the Department of Roads and Transport in Mpumalanga. In 2002 he left formal employment to explore various business opportunities in construction, engineering consulting, petroleum and transport sectors.

Through his dedication, leadership and desire to define his own business story, he later founded the GladAfrica Group (Pty) Limited, which also acquired the Ariya Project Managers (Pty) Limited in January 2016. GladAfrica Group has become one of the leading black owned multi-disciplinary companies in South Africa with over 200 projects and at least 80 clients from the public and private sector.

Mashaba’s focus is to create business sustainability and legacies through identification of investment opportunities in other sectors. As a result, he established Gladys Group in 2018. This company is responsible to accessing investment opportunities in South Africa and abroad.

As a trusted businessman, Mashaba continues to secure the most complex projects through his track record and having delivered world-class projects in the built environment and engineering project management field. GladAfrica Group has expanded its presence beyond the borders of South Africa with an office established in Nigeria.

Mashaba served in various Boards, including the South African Property Owners Association. He believes in business sustainability with a positive impact in communities. His businesses support various non-governmental organisations for the upliftment of the youth through education and sports development.
